Pickup Instructions
Our processor of choice is conveniently located in Maynardville, TN, just minutes from Clinton exit.

Meat is processed 10-12 days after dropoff, flash-frozen overnight, and ready for pickup the next day. What this means to you is that your meat will be ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after our dropoff date. Dropoff dates for 2025 are February 20 and February 27. Expected pickup should be weeks of March 3 and March 10. Your specific dropoff date between the two will be determined February 20, 2025.
Processor boxes beef so no extra prep necessary for pickup.
Payment to processor via check or cash only. Make checks payable to Helms Meats. Pickup day will be confirmed by Gracie via phone call to you once your beef has been processed.
Processor hours are:
Mon-Wed – 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
Thur – 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Storage Recommendations
Storage is a big consideration. We recommend allowing 10 cu. ft. of freezer space for 1/2 beef, and 20 cu. ft for a whole.
