ABOUT US

T&R Farms started as a family venture in registered Hereford cattle in 2016.  Since then, we continue to grow at a steady pace.  We keep only our best stock from which to grow future generations of beef.

We source new additions from sister operations who strive to develop the most efficient broodstock in the Hereford industry.  We accept no substitutes and remain loyal to the registered Hereford breed, insuring our customers receive 100% real Hereford beef. 

 

Our cattle are rotationally grazed, fresh-raised, on our farm.  Along with pasture feeding, grain and hay of the highest quality are fed, which further insures  exceptional flavor.

No steriods or artificial growth hormones are used in our operation.  We utilize industry tools, such as genomically enhanced EPDs (blood-tested genetic traits), along with a good eye for excellent phenotype.   In addition, we believe in taking care of the land (fertilization, soil samples, rotational grazing), and in turn, the land will take care of our herd.  This has resulted in excellent growth rates for our cattle.  We believe these practices all work together to provide you, our customer, with the best meat for your hard-earned dollar.

We feel honored and blessed to be stewards of such a wonderful part of God's creation.   To that end, the health of our herd as a whole is number one.  We use only those vaccines which are absolutely necessary to protect and promote the best health.  No unnecessary antibiotics or synthetic additives are used in our operations.
